The “Blue Eyed Devil” is a racial slur originating in Asia and directed against people of European ancestry. Some White Supremacists have adopted the term in recent decades and may refer to themselves as “blue-eyed devils.”
In 1995, a White Power music band emerged in Delaware calling itself the #BlueEyedDevils. The band created a distinctive logo consisting of a rounded Celtic Cross from which a man points a gun. The logo became very popular among White Supremacists and has far outlasted the band itself, which disbanded in the early 2000s. Many White Supremacists tattoo the band's logo, using it either as a general symbol of White Supremacy or as an explicit reference to the band.
It should be noted that other bands with no connection to racism or White Supremacy have also used the name Blue Eyed Devils. Therefore, the use of the term should be carefully assessed within its specific context.
